About this game

Marek just wants to reach the door at the top. Gravity, hazards, and his own appetite have other plans.

It's a retro-inspired, one-screen climbing platformer: ladders, moving platforms, rolling kegs, bouncing sausages, and fire vents stand between our hero and the top of each level. Clear it and the next round of chaos starts immediately - no rest for the weary.

There's a real mystery behind the chaos, too. Someone's launching illegal flying sausages and runaway kegs out of hidden hatches across the country, and only one man is thirsty enough to investigate. Follow the trail level by level, with a bigger comic-panel reveal every few rounds.

Forty rounds across eight escalating chapters, each stranger than the last - a taproom, a kitchen, a cellar, a lift shaft, a rooftop, a hilltop monastery, a grand festival, and places even weirder than that. Run out of lives mid-chapter and you bounce back to that chapter's start, not all the way to square one. Clear all forty and Endless mode keeps things going for as long as you can survive it.

Controls are simple on purpose: touch anywhere and drag to move, hold still or tap to hop, tap twice quickly for a bigger hop. Prefer a dedicated jump button instead? Switch to two-thumb mode in Settings and the screen splits into a move side and a jump side, either hand. No fiddly on-screen buttons in the default mode, no combos, no menus mid-run.

A few things are worth grabbing on the way up. A gold pan makes you briefly hazard-proof. A glowing bottle is a free life, no questions asked. A glowing pretzel is pure bonus points, and frankly, a fine snack.

Every level is built for a two-to-three-minute burst, so it's as at home in a waiting room as on a couch. No ads, no analytics, no tracking - Marek works entirely offline, and your best score never leaves your device.

Play in English, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Czech, or Slovak - switch anytime from Settings.

A love letter to the one-screen arcade platformers of old, reskinned with an original, cheerfully chaotic festival theme. Climb fast, dodge the chaos, reach the top.
Climb, dodge, survive. A retro one-screen platformer across 20 chaotic levels.
