About this game

Klondike solitaire, the card game you already know, built so the deal you are
given can actually be won. Drag a card to move it, or double tap to send it
home. A short walkthrough teaches the rules on your first board, in six moves.

EVERY DEAL CAN BE WON

A random shuffle of Klondike is unwinnable about one game in five on draw one,
and far more often on draw three, and you cannot tell which one you are in
until you have spent twenty minutes on it. That is not a difficulty setting, it
is a coin toss you were not told about.

This game ships a thousand deals that were BUILT from a finished game and
walked backwards into a starting position, so a winning line is known to exist
before you see the board. Each was then handed to a separate solver that knows
nothing about how it was made, and only the ones it cracked on its own were
kept. Five hundred for draw one, five hundred for draw three, easiest first.

No unverified deals anywhere: both modes draw from the same pool.

DRAW ONE OR DRAW THREE, BOTH DONE PROPERLY

Pick either in settings and the game remembers it. Draw three turns the waste
back over in the correct order -- the classic bug in this genre, invisible until
somebody counts the cards.

Recycling the stock is unlimited in both. No pass limits, nothing to wait for.

WHEN A BOARD STOPS, YOU ARE NOT JUST TOLD YOU LOST

Klondike really can dead-end: a card put down to rest can bury the only route
to something else. When nothing legal is left, this game says so and offers a
way on -- undo, restart or a fresh deal, all free and unlimited. It never shows
a bare "you lose" for a board its own rules ended.

READABLE, INCLUDING IN GREYSCALE

Every suit is drawn as a SHAPE rather than printed as a character. Klondike is
played on alternating colour, so a player who cannot separate red from black is
normally locked out of it. Here the form carries the same information as the
ink.

Seven card backs, each a different pattern as well as a different colour. Three
come with the game and the rest are earned with chips, which come from clearing
a deal you have never cleared, beating your own best, and the daily challenge.
Chips buy card backs and nothing else: nothing you can buy changes a board.

A DAILY DEAL, AND FIVE HUNDRED TO WORK THROUGH

The daily challenge is one winnable deal, chosen by the date, the same board
for everybody who plays that day. Finish it and the day gets a crown on the
calendar, and days in a row build a run. Miss one and this month and last can
still be caught up.

The adventure is the five hundred winnable deals in order, in named chapters,
with your progress on each. Classic deals from the same checked pool without
the bookkeeping, for as long as you like. Nothing is locked in either.

NO PRESSURE ANYWHERE

• Unlimited undo, always free.
• Hide the timer. Hide the move counter. Play with neither.
• No lives, no energy, nothing that expires while you are away.
• Put it down mid-game and it is where you left it, undo history included.
• Deals are numbered, so deal 1274 is the same board for everyone.
• A score and a personal best for each of the four modes.

NO NONSENSE

• No banner ads and none between games. The only adverts are ones you choose
to watch, and every one of those buttons says AD before you press it and
names exactly what it gives you.
• No in-app purchases. Nothing is locked. There is no paid version.
• No account, no sign-up, no email, no login.
• Plays offline. Every deal is inside the app, not on a server.
• Your saved game, settings and scores stay on your device. The app sends
anonymous counts of games played and finished so we can tell whether anyone
is playing it. That is all, it is not tied to you, your advertising ID or
your hardware, and the privacy policy describes it in full.

Solitaire, patience, klondike -- whatever you call it, this is the version that
does not waste an afternoon on a board that was never going to come out.

Free. Good luck with deal 500.
