Mewtangle is a cozy cat puzzle game inspired by Shikaku, the rectangle-based number puzzle. Stretch each cat across the grid, match its number of squares, and fill the whole board. Simple rules open the door to satisfying logic puzzles where every cat needs the right home.
HOW TO PLAY
• Pick a numbered cat and drag out a rectangle.
• Cover exactly as many squares as the number on that cat.
• Keep one numbered cat in each rectangle, with no overlaps.
• Fit every cat into the grid and leave no empty squares.
Start with a guided, hands-on tutorial, then put your own puzzle-solving skills to work. Look at the numbers, explore possible shapes, and work out how the pieces fit together.
2,000 LEVELS TO EXPLORE
Move from compact boards to larger, more challenging grids. Easier puzzles give you a breather between harder challenges, while carefully designed layouts keep you thinking beyond the first obvious move. After level 2,000, keep playing with returning puzzles from the campaign.
A NEW DAILY CHALLENGE
Take on one Daily puzzle each day and earn coins for completing it. Step away when you need to and return to finish your saved challenge.
