Measure once, price it twice.

Most construction calculators hand you a number and stop there. This one keeps going: every calculation ends in a material list with your own prices on it, and a total you can show a client or take straight to the counter.

Five calculators, one app:

• Concrete calculator - slab, footing or column. Cubic yards or cubic metres, plus the exact bag count for 60 lb and 80 lb mixes.
• Paint calculator - walls and ceiling minus doors and windows, coats and coverage, rounded up to whole cans.
• Stair calculator - total rise in; riser count, riser height, treads and stringer length out, with a warning when a riser or tread falls outside code.
• Drywall calculator - sheets for 4 x 8 or 4 x 12, plus screws, joint compound and tape.
• Fence calculator - posts, rails, pickets and bags of mix from length, post spacing and picket width.

Then the part most calculators skip:

• A priced estimate, not just a quantity: material, quantity, unit, unit price, line total, grand total.
• Your prices. Edit any unit price right in the estimate and it is remembered for every job after that. Your own price list, your own currency.
• Saved jobs. Name an estimate and it comes back whole - dimensions and material list together.
• Visual input. A drawing of what you are measuring highlights the dimension you are typing, so you always know which number goes where.
• Imperial or metric, switched everywhere at once.
• A waste allowance on every calculation.
