I cannot see my benefits on the app. I uninstalled then reinstalled and no benefits show up. It's a Sunday and I'd like to know that I can still get groceries and my benefits haven't magically wiped. It doesn't help that my office has moved, yet again. The number on the back of the card doesn't help with finding out what you have left either. The app needs to be fixed. Update: third times a charm. Did this a third time and can see our family benefits. App is finicky at the best of times.

Its frustrating when you scan the items on the app, and it says wic approved. Then you goto check out, you have enough benefits, but it doesnt go through.. then after you have checked out the amount of benefits that you still have are the exact same when it should of changed to what you have remaining. I just moved from Colorado and their wic app is definitely more functional, better items, and more variety. Disappointed to say the least.

Taylor, Thanks for the feedback. We are working to improve the app and your experience is valuable. If an item scans as WIC approved AND you have benefits for it, but it doesn’t scan as WIC approved at checkout, use the Item Not Scanning link in the app so we can look into it. Also, benefits on myTexasWIC may take 2-5 days to update after you shop.

The remaining benefits on the app are not at all accurate. Some items update while others don't. Don't count on the app alone when grocery shopping. You'll end up having to put stuff back if you don't have the cash to cover it. Edit to Catapult: Yes, I can read. The problem is while everything else updates, some things dont. For instance, I've been out of eggs for WEEKS but it still says I have 3 available. This has nothing to do with you system catching up. It's a glitch.
