About this app

The Gateway generates precision binaural beats in real time using on-device sine wave synthesis. Nothing is pre-recorded or streamed. Every session is built on the focus level system described in two declassified U.S. government documents from the CIA FOIA Reading Room: the 1983 U.S. Army "Analysis and Assessment of Gateway Process" and the 1977 Gateway Experience Intermediate Workbook.

HOW IT WORKS

A binaural beat is created when each ear hears a slightly different frequency. Your brain perceives the difference as a slow rhythmic pulse and tends to follow it — a phenomenon called auditory entrainment. Sessions move through timed stages targeting delta, theta, alpha, beta, or gamma ranges. Stereo headphones are recommended for binaural sessions; Daily Tools need none.
