Imagine getting immediate feedback on what keys, scales and modes go together with the chords you are actually playing live on your guitar, that's basically what this chord detector on steroids does. No need to look up charts in theory books or fiddle with the circle of fifths. Keep your hands on the guitar where they belong and let this app do the analysis for you. Here's what the latest version can do:

Chord detection
As long as your guitar is in tune, all major/minor/7th/M7/dim/aug/sus chords will be recognized.

Chord diagrams
Cycle through alternative voicings for the chords you play.

Keys, scales and modes
Play a couple of chords and notice how the app narrows down the selection of suitable scales, modes and keys to give you those that perfectly match the sequence you've just played.

Diatonic chords
Select a key/mode to see other chords that can be played in that context, along with chord order to quickly find those I-V-vi-IV progressions. Don't forget to venture beyond diatonic chords when it comes to actual songwriting though...

Note positions for scales
Every guitar app needs a fretboard view for practising runs up and down the neck.

Triad positions
Need to quickly find all possible 1-3-5 variations for a chord on the neck? No problem with this app.

Note that nothing permanent is recorded or stored when you activate the microphone. All data for chord detection is handled in-memory and is immediately discarded after use. For best results, use an acoustic guitar or a plugged-in electric with a clean tone.
