I still can't get any settings to open to change it to dark mode. Now I understand. Your ereader is book specific but not generally app specific for dark mode. But in order to get to a new book I have to go through several white and bright screens which are impossible for my eyes to see properly day or night. Right now I have Moby Dick brcause it just popped up. I can't search for another through the white page black letter glare. Thanks for listening. I really appreciate your feedback.

Doesn't work. Every time you hit 'read', three ads play. Try that again and again until you exhaust yourself. Go to the Project Gutenberg website to read instead. Thank me later.

We’re sorry for the frustrating experience. Ads in the app are served through Google and their number or duration is not directly controlled by us. After the ad finishes, the book is automatically downloaded to your device and you can start reading. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve the experience.
