About this game

A classic connection game on a diamond board of hexagons under a night aurora. Take turns placing one stone on any empty cell. Stones never move and are never removed. Amber links its two amber edges, cyan links its two cyan edges, and the first unbroken chain finishes first. A draw is impossible.
Cell A
• Boards of 7×7, 9×9 and 11×11 cells, standing on a point in portrait and lying flat in landscape.
• Play amber and move first, or play cyan and move second.
• An optional swap rule lets the second player take over the opening stone, so a strong first move carries a risk.
Cell B
• Three bots: Spark is quick and curious, Drift reads bridges and blocks your shortest route, and Nova thinks through thousands of simulated games.
• Undo takes you back to your last turn, and Hint suggests a solid move.
• Pass and play lets two people share one device, with a Swap button after the first stone.
Cell C
• Daily board: one fresh layout each night with 5 stones already placed, a night streak and a strip of the last 14 nights.
• Badges: 14 to collect, from Spark tamed and Nova eclipsed to Long light and Pie cutter.
• Stats and history: games, finishes in first place against the bots, fewest stones, longest chain, stones placed, highest quiz score, results per bot and the last 25 games.
Cell D
• Lore quiz: 10 questions per round from 28 real facts on this game and game theory. Every right answer lights one more hexagon in the chain.
• How to play explains the rules in 6 short cards with small diagrams.
• The animated background lets soft aurora glows drift and breathe over still stars. You can switch it off in Settings, along with haptics, and reset progress there.
• The game plays fully offline, needs no account and has no sound.
