Circlet is committed to providing high security. We apply industry-standard 256-bit AES-GCM encryption for end-to-end private messaging. Additionally, the client communicates with the server using the HTTPS protocol, ensuring that only the parties in the chat room can read the messages.
Unique Features:
- New Way of Chat:
Circlet introduces a feature allowing you to talk to multiple friends simultaneously, without them knowing you are also talking to others. Each friend feels that you are talking to them exclusively. This handy feature saves you from repeatedly sending the same message to different friends, and their replies are not visible to others. This is particularly useful when you want to ask questions privately without broadcasting them publicly.
- Whispering:
Sometimes, in a group chat, you may want to talk to a few friends privately without others knowing. Instead of opening another group chat, Circlet's 'sub-group' feature allows whispering within the same group chat. You can define multiple sub-groups in a group and use them as needed. Additionally, Circlet provides an 'excluding' feature in group chats, allowing you to exclude some friends from seeing specific messages without them knowing. For instance, you can discuss birthday presents for a friend in a group chat while excluding her from those messages.
- Social Circles:
Circlet introduces Social Circles with Relationship Levels. You can define your Social Circles and group friends accordingly. Each friend can belong to multiple Social Circles, and each Social Circle is assigned a Relationship Level value (0-100). Higher values indicate closer relationships. Social Circles help you organize your friend list and define relationships more effectively.
- Mute and Block by Relationship Levels:
Beyond muting selected chat rooms or group chat rooms, Circlet allows you to define policies to mute or block someone based on their Relationship Level in Social Circles. Once set and enabled, these policies apply to all related chat rooms and group chats. Even in non-muted group chats, muted friends remain muted. You can also block users similarly. Simply add friends to the corresponding Social Circles, and the policy is applied to them.

Circlet allows you to set up voting items in groups, making it easy to make group decisions. Votes are cast anonymously, and once a vote item is closed, the winning option and the vote counts for each option are displayed.
