In the world of aviation, Air Traffic Control can give an IFR pilot instructions to Hold over a particular VOR, Waypoint, or other published Fix.

Hold Entry Visualizer will compute and display the appropriate entry for the hold based on the Hold Radial (or Inbound Heading) and the Aircraft's Current Heading. And best of all, it does this real-time While you're flying by monitoring the ground track of your airplane!

Hold Entry Visualizer can also be used in a 'static' mode for teaching & learning how to make the appropriate entry into a holding pattern. Practicing on the ground rather than in the cockpit simplifies the learning process along with saving time and money.

Interface not friendly. Should have a place where you just put your input eg 1 (outbound heading) 2 (inbound track) 3 ( left or Right holding pattern) 4( Aircraft heading to the station/fix )

Why in the world are the letters so tiny? .. Turbulence situation really needs big numbers.. The tiny letters makes this nice app as completely useless..

What’s new

Version 4.10 adds the User Requested ability to specify a hold via an Inbound Track in addition to a VOR Radial.

Version 4.01 checks for Out-of-Memory conditions and reports them rather than allowing the application to fail loading.

Version 4.00 adds the ability to Speak. When changing the Hold Radial, or the 'L/R Turns' setting, the app will announce the new Hold Type out loud. This feature is intended to help keep your eyes out the window (or on the instruments) .
