AS Timer is a circuit and interval training timer built to do one thing well: show you exactly where you are in your workout, readable from across the gym.
Set your round time, how many rounds, and the rest between them. Press start. The app counts the current phase down in large, steady digits and beeps through the last three seconds, so you never have to look up in the middle of a set.
What you get
• Round time, rest and rounds, set without ever opening a keyboard — round time from 5 seconds to 60 minutes, rest from 0 to 60 minutes, 1 to 99 rounds.
• A prep countdown before the first round, so you are in position when it starts. Adjustable, or switched off.
• Saved presets. Name the circuits you do often and load one with a single tap.
• A round counter and the full session length, visible the whole time.
• Six states you can tell apart instantly — setup, get ready, workout, rest, paused, done — and never by colour alone.
• Beeps through the last three seconds of every phase, a longer tone at every switch, and a different sound when the session ends.
• Optional vibration on the ticks and the transitions.
• Your music keeps playing. AS Timer ducks it under the beep instead of stopping it, and the volume follows your phone's own volume buttons.
• The screen stays awake for the whole session.
• Portrait and landscape, each laid out for the way you have propped the phone up. Landscape is a different layout, not a squashed one.
• Light and dark, following your system setting.
• English and Hungarian, detected from your device and switchable in the app.
Built for the gym floor
The digits are large, fixed-width, and never jitter or reflow as they count. Text stays high-contrast in both light and dark. Controls are big enough to hit one-handed while the other hand is holding something heavy. There is no sign-up, no onboarding and no tips to dismiss: the app opens on the timer.
Private by design
AS Timer works fully offline. No account, no cloud, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising. Nothing you enter leaves your phone, and the app asks for no permissions at all.
What people use it for
Kettlebell circuits, HIIT sessions, Tabata and EMOM sets, boxing and sparring rounds, bodyweight training, stretching and mobility work, rehab exercises, plank holds — anything counted in rounds with rest in between.
