About this app
The purpose of the mobile application is to support environmentally sustainable commuting to work, measure related performance, and support gamification.
The mobile application supports the individual measurement and monitoring of the set company mobility goals and helps to achieve the set goals. These goals can be defined in a web application developed for this purpose by the company's mobility manager. The individual statistics appearing in the application act as an incentive for achieving goals. In addition, the mobile application evaluates and scores individual performances through the evaluation system linked to the goals. Another incentive element of the application is that points can be redeemed at an internal sales interface (store) based on the points obtained. The range of products available in the store (tangible or non-tangible) is also created by the mobility manager in the related web application.
One of the most important roles of the mobile application is the measurement of individual user mobility performances (e.g. kilometers traveled on foot, bicycle) and their health-related display, e.g. calories burned, heart rate measurement. The application also helps employees optimize individual transportation with the carpool module that supports their own car sharing. Employees can share journeys and apply for announced journeys both for travel to the workplace and for travel home. But the carpool functionality is also suitable for more optimal organization of transport between locations, which directly results in cost savings for the company.
Finally, the system broadcasts the daily questions set in the web application via the mobile application. In the case of the question of the day, the system collects information about the usage characteristics of the transport mode related to the previous day's trips. Daily questions can also be used in the life of a company along very broad goals, of which, of course, going to work in an environmentally sustainable way is the primary one.
