DQ Player is a fast, ad-free video player for Android with WiFi file sharing built in.
Play the videos already on your phone, resume exactly where you left off, and send files
to any nearby device without using mobile data.
★ A VIDEO PLAYER THAT PLAYS EVERYTHING
Open MP4, MKV, AVI, WebM, MOV, 3GP and more with hardware-accelerated HD playback. A
second playback engine takes over automatically when a file needs it, so awkward videos
still play instead of failing.
★ RESUME WHERE YOU STOPPED
Every video remembers its position. Close the app, take a call, come back tomorrow —
playback picks up at the exact second you left.
★ GESTURE CONTROLS
Swipe up and down on the left for brightness and on the right for volume. Drag sideways
to seek, with a live frame preview so you land on the right moment. Double-tap to skip
forward or back. Lock the controls with one tap so a stray touch can't interrupt a film.
★ SUBTITLES DONE PROPERLY
Embedded subtitle tracks are detected automatically. Matching SRT files sitting next to
your video are found for you. Or browse and load any subtitle file yourself.
★ BACKGROUND PLAY AND PICTURE-IN-PICTURE
Keep the audio going with the screen off, controlled from a notification. Or shrink the
video into a floating window and keep watching while you chat, browse or reply to email.
★ ZOOM AND SCALE
Four scale modes — original size, fit to screen, crop to fill and stretch — so black
bars and odd aspect ratios stop being a problem. Playback speed is adjustable, with fine
tuning for the in-between values.

Browse your device folder by folder with thumbnails and video counts. Rename, move, copy
and delete videos, including on SD cards and external storage. Select several at once for
bulk actions and watch the progress as they run.

Share files with any device on the same WiFi network or hotspot. The receiving side just
opens a link in their browser — Android, iPhone, laptop, tablet, no app required. Scan the
QR code to pair two phones in seconds. Transfers are direct between devices at full WiFi
speed, they never touch a server, and they cost you nothing in mobile data.
★ RECEIVE FILES SAFELY
Turn on Receive mode to let nearby devices send files to you. Every incoming connection
has to be approved on your device first, and files land in Downloads/dqplayer where you
can open them straight away.
