We rarely decide to lose an hour to a feed. We open an app on muscle memory and resurface much later wondering where the time went.

Nudge sits quietly in the background and, the moment you open an app you've chosen to guard, it gently interrupts you with a Mindful Prompt: how long do you actually want to spend here? You commit to a conscious window, and when the time is up, Nudge nudges again. That tiny pause is often all it takes to close the app and get on with your day.

No accounts. No cloud. No ads. Everything happens on your device.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Choose your apps: add any installed app you want to monitor.
2. Get nudged: opening a guarded app triggers a full screen prompt asking you to set a usage limit.
3. Stay aware: the countdown runs in the background. A single, collapsible notification shows your active timers with a Reset button.
4. Time's up: when your window ends, Nudge asks whether to extend or wrap up. You can choose to continue if you really need to.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE

Nudge uses Android's AccessibilityService API to detect when an app you've chosen to guard becomes the foreground app. This is required for Nudge's core functionality: recognizing when you open a guarded app so that Nudge can display its mindful prompt at that moment.

The Accessibility Service is used only to detect app and window changes and read the package name of the current foreground app. Nudge does not use the Accessibility Service to read screen content, record keystrokes, capture passwords, or access personal content from other apps.

The information is processed entirely on your device and is not collected, transmitted, or shared by Nudge.

You choose which apps to guard, and you can disable the Accessibility Service at any time through Android settings.
