About this app

A free, offline, multi-language app to mark up screenshots with arrows, text and steps. Blur what's private. Frame then export.

Mark up any screenshot in seconds. Draw an arrow, box the problem, number the steps, blur what's private, and share a picture that explains itself.

Screenshot Annotator is a small markup studio for your phone. Use it for bug reports, how-to guides, design feedback, or for sending a screenshot without giving away names, addresses and account numbers.

• Arrow, Line, Box and Oval
• Pen for freehand drawing, and Marker for see-through highlights
• Text callouts, plain or in a filled box
• Step: numbered markers that count up by themselves, 1, 2, 3 as you tap
• Hide: cover private details with a solid Block, or with Blur or Pixelate (PRO)
• Focus: spotlight one area and dim everything around it
• Crop, with your marks moving along with the picture
• Select, to move, resize and restyle anything you've drawn

EVERY MARK STAYS EDITABLE
• The Marks sheet lists everything on the image: tap to select, hide or show, move up or down, or delete
• Bring to front, send to back, duplicate
• Undo and redo
• Snap guides centre marks as you move them

FRAME IT, SHARE IT
Put your screenshot on a gradient backdrop with rounded corners and a soft shadow. Pick one of 6 backdrops or mix your own two colours and angle, then set the padding and corner radius.

SAVE AND EXPORT
• Save to the in-app library. Each save keeps the screenshot, every mark and the frame, so you can reopen it and keep editing
• Export as PNG or JPG, save it to your phone or share it straight to any app
• Share a screenshot into the app from anywhere to start marking it up
