PickIt is a free app for litter pickers who want to track their efforts and see the impact they're making. Whether you're doing a solo clean-up walk or joining a community event, PickIt records your route and lets you share it with fellow litter pickers in your area.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Start a pick — Tap Record and start walking your route. PickIt uses GPS to track your path in real time.
2. Pick up litter — The app records your route in the background, so you can lock your screen, listen to a podcast, or check messages without losing your route data.
3. Finish and share — When you're done, name your pick, log how many bags you filled, and save. Your pick appears on the community map so others can see the streets you've cleaned.

BACKGROUND LOCATION
PickIt uses background location access during active recording sessions only. When you start recording a pick, a notification appears to let you know tracking is active. Background tracking stops the moment you finish your pick. We never track your location outside of recording sessions.
PRIVACY
Your location data is only collected during active pick recording. Your email is used for account login only. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app settings.
