Instrument Tuner Pro turns your android mobile phone into a portable chromatic tuner. It will let you tune any musical instrument with a very high accurateness (up to ±1/100 semitone (±1 cent) precise) and a wide range that covers A0 (27.50 Hz) – C8 (4186.01 Hz).

Ratings and reviews

Very good no nonsense tuner (many android tuner apps are essentially spyware needing absurd permission and 100s of cookies), but I trust this as an app doing the job it is meant to do. A couple of areas it is not quite the best: 1. The display is cramped and hard to read on a phone, yet there is lots of unused space. 2. Background noise can confuse it. I realise this is impossible to fully solve, but not quite as good at noise rejection than previous tuner I used But overall I am very pleased.

Works for a few hours, then stops responding. I upgraded to this for the stretching feature, and it was working fine until the app decided to stop measuring the frequency. I tried clearing the cache, clear all data, relaunching the app and nothing works.

This tuner works great, it's accurate enough to set intonation on a guitar, I would give it 5 stars but even the paid version aggravates you about rating it...alot, like once an hour or something. Trade off there, I rated the app sooner, but only gave it 4 stars instead of 5
