About this game

Twelve habitats share one dimming star. Every year it gives a measured amount less, and the arithmetic has never been in dispute. What the Conclave cannot agree on is who goes without.

You are the Meridian Cartographer, admitted to the Conclave with one deciding influence and a record that remembers everything you do with it.

A STORY YOU DECIDE, NOT ONE YOU WATCH
Every chapter turns on choices that stay decided. Send a probe into a failing gravity well or leave it sealed. Put a heat trace on the open docket or hold it back. Back an engineer's numbers in open session, or let the chamber weigh him alone. The story branches and does not quietly rejoin.

EVIDENCE, NOT GUESSWORK
Scan the habitats with two survey probes and pin what they find. The docket holds every piece you have gathered, and a gate that is closed to you now may open once a probe has read the seam.

A LEDGER THAT REMEMBERS
Legitimacy, energy, truth, cohesion and lives all move with your decisions, and they move together. Spending the ring's last reserve buys a habitat one more year and costs you something you will want later.

THE CONCLAVE VOTES
When the chamber sits, you see the projected consequence of each position before you commit. Then you commit, and the record keeps it.
