About this app

Use your phone as drone radar to detect drones with RemoteID/DRI technology (Bluetooth/WLAN) and show them on a map. Also, you can view drone details and save the flight path to a GPX file.

Drone RemoteID/DRI is a wireless number plate for drones and contains basic information like serial number, operator, purpose and current position. It is mandatory for (new) drones over 250 gram in the US, Europe and Japan. Also, countries like Singapore and China have similar regulation. The RemoteID information can be used by general public, law enforcement and drones to give better situation awareness of the airspace around them.

The DroneScout pro app is free, but also includes premium subscriptions (silver, gold and platinum). With silver, you get a notification when a drone drone is detected. Also, historic drone detections are saved and accessible. With gold you get the silver features plus these: select multiple map providers (Google Maps/HERE/Naver) and layers: Normal/Satellite/Terrain. Label drones for easy recognition, assign drones to groups or enter notes. Platinum subscription allows integration with Stratux.me (ADS-B) to view nearby aircraft. Also Platinum allows you to upgrade to 3rd party services like Caltopo or your own server. Premium subscriptions identify the brand and model of the detected drone. Over 100 brands and 350 drone models are recognized!

When the RemoteID/DRI technology was designed, the idea was to use a smartphone and app for drone detection. However, nowadays most drones with RemoteID/DRI technology use a wireless signal that your phone does not understand. They are invisible! Our DroneScout Bridge device solves this by receiving those signals and convert them to a wireless signal that smartphones understand, a wireless bridge. Also, Bridge will extend the detection range up to 2 km.

I have not had much time with this app. it seems ok so far, but this early version has a problem where when you use that interface to exit. it does, but it starts back up on its own. I have to Force Stop to shut it down.

you can't turn this app off. It's like a virus. I tried turning it off and it keeps turning itself back on. I can't recommend this to other people.

this is very good app to detect remote id drone. flight path shows perfectly. it includes lots of premium features works well .
