Reso-Calm is a minimalist breathing rhythm guide.
【Core Mechanism】 A retractable breathing ball, accompanied by a bell sound and short tactile cues during phase transitions, guides users to follow external rhythms through simultaneous alignment of sight, hearing, and touch.
【Suitable Scenarios】 Daily acute emotion regulation exercises, introductory breathing exercises, attention anchoring assistance, and pre-sleep relaxation exercises. The design is inspired by open-source literature on resonance breathing.
【Design Orientation】 • Minimal cognitive burden: A single tap on the central breathing ball activates the app; no menus or tutorials are available.
• Conservative parameters: Adjustable breathing cycle from 6 to 16 seconds, covering the resonance zone but avoiding the training layer.
• Three tone levels: 200 Hz soothing / 350 Hz focused / 500 Hz uplifting.
• Supports 8 interface languages.
【Privacy】 A purely front-end application; it does not collect any data. All calculations are performed locally on the device. The only stored data is language preference (local browser settings).
