Calm dB does not record audio or collect personal data. All measurements stay on your device. The app uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash data to improve stability.

I rarely give 5 stars but at first sight this app well thought design and functionality impressed me. And the same goes for the other app Luma Lux. If this lux app could be made to work on an old phone as a light sensor server and be acesed from another phone maybe by Bluetooth or Hotspot that would be something great.... It would help to remotely measure the photons quantity at the solar panel level so not needing a dedicated device.

Definitely one of the better sound measuring apps, easy to understand, less complicated that other apps. Will update soon when my home project of sound proofing is completed to see if it has managed to tone down the WOOF to a woof! 🐕
