Together with the Dip.io kit, this Dip.io application enables you to test your urine and get clinical-grade results from home. The test results can be used for general evaluation of health, and aids in the diagnosis and monitoring of metabolic and systematic disease. The app analysis a urine dipstick and securely transmits results to your healthcare provider.

Didn't work for me. Poor phone signal in my house meant the photo wouldn't send. Still wouldn't send after moving phone and getting a strong signal and wifi. Had a few attempts then restarted my phone which meant the photo was lost with no option to attempt to resend. Hugely wasteful! The kit feels big, expensive and unnecessary for an already strained NHS, and David Attenborough would weep at the sight of the single-use plastic cup. Midwife dipped my urine as usual in the end, which was fine.

Very simple to use. Always accurate and saves an unnecessary face to face trip to clinic when under review. If I show any symptoms in between I am able to do one if these tests and alert my transplant team to look for anything suspicious. Great idea.

Updated review: The email problem has been fixed, thank you. Is there a possibility for the app to retain readings so that they can be shown to an emergency doctor? still very happy with the app.
