Wisper doesn't replace your existing keyboard. The dictation bubble appears next to text fields when you want to speak, while your normal keyboard stays exactly where it is.

Accessibility Service Disclosure

Wisper uses the Android Accessibility Service to provide universal voice dictation across apps. Android does not provide a standard API that allows Wisper to detect text-field focus and insert dictated text into other applications without replacing the user's keyboard.

Wisper uses Accessibility Service for:

• Detecting text fields: Identifying when you tap an editable field so the dictation bubble can appear.
• Inserting dictated text: Pasting your transcription into the active text field.
• Detecting keyboard visibility: Showing or hiding the bubble depending on whether the keyboard is open.
• Diagnostics and crash logging: Limited accessibility-related diagnostic data may be used to troubleshoot performance issues.

Wisper does not use Accessibility Service to collect, store or share personal content from other apps while dictation is inactive. The service is used only for the dictation functionality described above.

UPDATED. I am really impressed with the response time from the support team, they really stepped up. I lost important recordings, though nothing could be done to get it back, they did fix the problem that caused to lose it in the 1st place..so thank you. They kept me updated at every step and let me know when it was finally fixed. it truly is a very good app for people with issues to get things out of their minds that instant,it takes off the pressure of writing. i would like to Thank you Vlad😊

Great app, love it. It works well and generally gets things right better than the built-in voice notes, since you can actually whisper!!

I am fine with subscriptions but privacy is really important and the fact that you take audio files and store them in your cloud instead of everything happening on the device is a big red flag for me.
