About this app

Arrowmark works out the marks for any conduit bend — offsets, saddles, 90s, kicks, compound and segmented bends — for the bender in your hand, not a generic one. Then it shows you which mark goes where, which bend comes first, and why the number is what it is.

◆ SAY IT, DON'T TYPE IT
Gloves on, conduit in hand? Tap Speak and say it: "rise 6 at 30", "stub 2 feet 6", "roll 8, rise 6, 45 degrees". Arrowmark fills in every box it heard and shows you the numbers to check before you bend. Feet, inches and fractions like "five eighths" all work, in English or Spanish. Every number pad has a mic too.

◆ 17 BENDS, ONE TAPE-READY ANSWER
Offset, Rolling Offset, Parallel Offset, Matching Centers Offset, Matching Bends Offset, Three Point Saddle, Four Point Saddle, 90° Bend, Kick With 90°, Matching Center Kick, Matching Bend Kick, Parallel Kick (back and forward), Compound 90° around round, square and rectangular obstructions, and Segmented 90°. Results come back the way you read a tape — fractional inches to the 1/16", feet and inches, or centimeters.

◆ MARKS FOR YOUR BENDER, NOT FOR A TABLE
Pick your bender and Arrowmark uses that shoe's centerline radius and deduct. Greenlee, Klein, Ideal, Gardner Bender, Milwaukee, Southwire and Current Tools hand, mechanical and hydraulic benders are in the catalog with the source of each number noted. Add your own shoe when yours isn't listed, or pin the ones you actually own. No bender at all? Switch to the multiplier method and get the textbook numbers.

◆ A GUIDE UNDER EVERY RESULT
Step by step, right under the numbers: mark here, put the mark on the arrow (or on the center-of-bend line), bend to this angle, roll the conduit half a turn, next mark. Written for the bend you just calculated, with your numbers in it — not a generic drawing.

◆ WHY 15 15/16" AND NOT 16"
When the bender's real radius makes the answer differ from the multiplier table, Arrowmark says so and shows both numbers and the reason. You know which one to trust before you cut.

◆ IMPOSSIBLE BEND? IT TELLS YOU
A stub shorter than the deduct, an offset that can't fit between its bends — the number turns red on the spot, before you walk back to the bender with a bad mark.

◆ LAY OUT A WHOLE STICK
Layout chains bends along one length of conduit — an offset, then a saddle, then a 90° — carrying the shrink of each bend into the next mark. Flip, edit or remove any bend and the whole stick re-marks itself.

◆ SHOP TOOLS IN THE SAME APP
Center Marks: arrow-to-center distances at 15°, 22.5°, 30°, 45° and 60° for the bender and size you selected. Protractor: read a bend angle using the phone's tilt sensor. Multipliers: the cosecant and shrink table for every common angle, with a short explanation of where the numbers come from. Conduit Dimensions: outside diameter of EMT, IMC and rigid by trade size. Bender Specs: radius, deduct, gain, setback and radius adjustment for any angle.
