MAKAIN is the marketplace for heavy machinery in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
Buy a machine, rent one out, find the part you need, or call a mechanic who works
on it — in Kurdish, Arabic or English.

BUY AND RENT
Excavators, cranes, loaders and trucks. A machine for sale shows one price; a
machine for hire shows its daily, weekly and monthly rates, so you can cost any
length of job before you ring anyone. Filter by category, city and price, or
search by make and model.

Listings are ordered newest first, for everybody. Nobody can pay to appear
higher up.

SPARE PARTS
Track chains, hydraulic pumps, bucket teeth, turbochargers. Every part carries an
item code, so you can name exactly the piece you need. Prices are given to you in
the chat, and if nobody has listed the part you are after, you can ask for it.

SERVICES
Mechanics, auto electricians, welders and tyre services, listed by trade and by
city — showing who is taking work now and who will travel to you. Every provider
is read by a person before the profile appears.

ASK FOR WHAT YOU CANNOT FIND
Post what you are looking for: the machine, your city, and a budget if you have
one. Sellers answer with an actual listing you can open and price, not with a
message.

BUILT FOR HOW BUSINESS IS DONE HERE
Kurdish, Arabic and English, each laid out in its own reading direction. Erbil,
Baghdad, Duhok, Sulaymaniyah, Basra and Mosul.

Browse everything without an account. Sign in with your telephone number to see a
seller's number, send a message, or post a machine of your own.

SAFETY
Photographs on listings are checked automatically before they are published, and
number plates are blurred. Anything wrong can be reported from the listing
itself, and a person reads every report.

Deleting your account removes your listings and your messages with it.
