VCMI is an open-source engine designed to recreate and enhance Heroes of Might and Magic 3. It’s a complete rewrite from scratch, bringing new features and extended possibilities to the classic game.

VCMI mods are accessible through the built-in launcher included in the latest version.

Such an awesome idea. Unfortunately it didn't work for me. I don't know what the issue is, but it refused to recognize my game data. I put the files right from Gog on my phone. I selected the folder containing it But it refused to read. I put the folders directly into the path it showed, it still didn't recognize them. I watched a YouTube video on how to do it to no avail. app just refuses to recognize my files even though I copied them right from Gog. Edit the gog offline option worked.

Generally good but best to avoid updating with a save in progress. The latest update added a bug to heroes movement in my existing saves - all the heroes, in 2 different saves, are suddenly getting maximum movement points every day ever since I updated to the latest version, even heroes with no logistics skill/etc. Edit to add - Not using any mods at all and this bug doesn't occur in a completely fresh new game, only in the 2 saves that I had already in progress before I updated.

Update: Samsung Note 10+. Can't change resolution, always 800x600 (mod fixes it) and a bit choppy animation of heroes riding in a world map. Touch screen for tactical combat is not very comfortable, sometimes you move to a hex instead of attacking an enemy (not a problem with s pen). When a window opens where you need to change numbers a keyboard always pops up and blocks view even if I can use slider to do that (after a while it gets really annoying). Other then that, port is great!
