About this app

AirGap Wallet is a watch-only wallet used alongside AirGap Vault. This separation helps to provide better security while handling your funds.

The AirGap Wallet initiates transactions, connects to a network to fetch data from the blockchain, and displays this information within the app as a portfolio overview. The Vault, however, does not connect to any network, irrespective of the device used. The Vault signs transactions and protects your private key securely offline.

Fees for some reason are crazy high it doesn't make sense as I don't see the same for other wallets. And when I do try to send it keeps giving me error saying not enough balance when I do have sufficient balance. Nice concept with the Airgap Vault and Wallet but I'd avoid if you want this to be your main wallet. Go for something that supports SegWit

We're happy to say that SegWit has been added. For Bitcoin, the average sat/vbyte fee of the last 5 blocks is taken. We add a little margin for safety because users complained that their transactions never get included. Advanced users have the option to edit the fee. When you get "Not enough balance", make sure you have enough to pay the tx fees.

I tested this wallet and really works well. Still some work to be done to improve on the wallets performance. Connects well with offline phone vault feature and sent btc out 3 times to another wallet all confirmed. Thanks for this wallet really appreciate the hard work you put into it so far. Hope you will sort the vault wallet out for marshmallow soon.

This is the most buggy thing I've ever had the pleasure to interact with. Had to try for two days to get my funds back to my binance address then it randomly decided to work. Most functionalities are not working, I kept getting errors that I have insufficient funds even though funds were clearly there. I tried 10 times to get my eth out of this mess and some times I even received an error saying something about Tezos. Even their error messages are problematic.

When you get the "insufficient funds" error it means that the amount of your transaction + fees is higher than your balance. You most likely tried to send your whole balance without accounting for the fee. AirGap is a non-custodial wallet and follows industry standards, you can recover your accounts in other wallets. This is documented in our docs.
