Bologna Children's Book Fair, 13-16 April 2026
The BCBF 2026 App, available free of charge, invites visitors and exhibitors to make the most of the entire fair experience, with events, initiatives, awards, exhibitions, networking opportunities and professional development.
The Fair will welcome the international community of industry professionals to the halls of the BolognaFiere exhibition centre, with around 1,500 exhibitors and a professional audience increasingly connected to the world's leading event for the trading of rights in children's publishing. The fair will also feature exhibitions showcasing the very best of international illustration, celebrated masters of illustration, leading contemporary authors, and the winners of the most prestigious international awards.

TOGETHER WE ARE BETTER
Bologna Children's Book Fair (BCBF), the world's leading event for children's publishing, returns to BolognaFiere from 13 to 16 April 2026 for its 63rd edition. Running alongside it will be BolognaBookPlus (BBPlus), the extension dedicated to general trade publishing organised in collaboration with the Italian Publishers Association (AIE), and Bologna Licensing Trade Fair/Kids (BLTF/Kids), devoted to brands and the licensing of content for children, young adults and beyond.
Norway is the Guest of Honour Country for 2026. Around 1,500 exhibitors from 90 countries and regions are expected to take part in this new edition.
