About this game

U-Boat Simulator is a game set in World War 2, you can control a U-Boat VII-C German submarine, search enemy ships and engage in dangerous battles to sink them with torpedoes.
This is not an “arcade” game but a complex and realistic simulator, a bit difficult at the beginning but after a little practice you will enjoy hours and hours of fun.
It has options that you can enable to make the game more realistic and difficult, you can look around your submarine with the 3D views, and so on…

In this web site you will find the instructions for this game, several screenshots and a forum where you can post comments, ideas, report bugs, ask for help or add your stories and screenshots.

Here is a brief explanation:

You can scroll and zoom the map with your fingers, its borders are highlighted by yellow lines on the edges.
Your submarine is green, enemies are red, allies are blue and neutral units are black, while the units not yet identified are gray.
The submarine is indicated with a diamond and a cross, warships with a diamond and commercial vessels with a square.

On the top left of the screen there are the indicators with the speed, course and depth.
Clicking on it opens a window to edit them and MOVE THE SUBMARINE.

Always at the top, there are the boxes with the health, the batteries, the oxygen and fuel, the date and time acceleration.
Clicking on the box acceleration is possible to increase the speed of the game.

On the bottom and left there is the map scale.

On the bottom of the screen there are buttons to go on the map, to go to the screen of the charging torpedoes, to bring up the window for launching torpedoes and guidelines, the button to exit the game and on the right the button to put in pause the game.

Clicking on any unit, on the left some usefull informations will appear about its distance, course, speed etc..

The fuel is consumed only browsing on the surface, the batteries and the oxygen staying underwater (they can be recharged at the surface), health decreases when you bang against a ship, when hit by the guns of the enemy ships or near breaks out of depth charges.

This is the Full version of the game (not free).
Before buying the full game, it is better to try the free demo version that contains some limitations, it is better to download it just to have an idea of the game and to test if this game is compatible with your smartphone :

Demo:
Only 14 torpedoes available, NOT replaceable by calling the torpedoes transport.
Only 25 bullets for cannon and AA gun.
The damaged submarine is NOT repairable.
Oxygen and batteries NOT rechargeable at surface.
Save/Load of multiple games NOT available.
Missions NOT available.

Full:
Torpedoes replaceable by calling the torpedoes transport.
Bullets : 220 for cannon and 1000 for AA gun (rechargeable).
Fuel refillable, damaged submarine repairable, oxygen and batteries rechargeable.
Save/Load of multiple games available.
Missions available.

Very well done. With the gauges and other options via the arrow at the bottom left this sim is awesome. From the beginning some may think the appearance is outdated but in reality the beginning map shows your ship on a map that is over 500 miles across. To me being able to pinch and zoom on the map right up to within feet of the ship brings the game up to some serious development skill. After a few missions the player can get the hang of what it feels like to run a WWII era sub.

Just starting out but I have to say this is well worth the price. Clearly a labor of love. If you like sub action give it a try. edit: Been enjoying this for a while but lately it's started to infrequently but randomly close, without saving. Makes long realtime games more or less impossible. If the dev returns I'll pick it up again. Otherwise great game, highly recommended for fans of sub warfare. edit 2: it may well be my old phone that's causing the crashes, who knows

it's very fun. i like playing realistic simulators. yes, the interface is scary complex at first, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes really good. i haven't tried full realism yet so I'll try that too. hopefully it doesn't have much math in it. I'm not very good at math. is that good for me? no, absolutely not. actually it'll probably be easy math. hopefully. yeah it's good keep it up dev 👍
