Finally worked Had trouble on the first install on my Lenovo S5000 so after reinstalling, it found my Canon printer and worked. I had to do a LAN check and then it found my Canon printer after that. Worked great on my Moto E 2nd gen right away. Printed fairly fast for being wireless, so worth a try for a freebie, though it could use better user instructions.
App designers, get it together! Man, I've never been so disapointed with an app's usability. Sure, it looks easy enough- until you discover that you can't edit the photo on your smart phone (like the app examples suggest) nor can you alter the image size, or preview what the selphy spits out. The result? It cuts off part of the picture, with zero control. Who designed this interface?!
Excellent Top Notch Useful App I was in desperate need of an app to connect my Pixma MX479 wirelessly to my tablet to print shipping labels and forms without my PC & this app is exactly what I was looking for plus more. When I first download the app, I did experience problems with the app finding the printer on the network & had to restart both the printer and my tablet but it worked perfectly after that. I was able to quickly print & scan what I needed without any problems. It's extremely easy to navigate and use. Perfect for any user.
Was working great..but This app was working great on my new Selphy printer and then I set it up with my new Canon 7700 series. After printing the first two pics just fine, now it just spits out blank pages. The process goes thru the motions just fine and the printer gets the request but then just a blank page comes out and the app states Printing Completed. I tried this about 10 times. No luck. Anyone else experience this?
Why I can't print images saved from Facebook on my CP900??? The app showing them shadowed with a big exclamation mark, and when I try to print them nothing printed out. Printing same image from my laptop is fine, but what's the point of the app if I need to turn on my laptop to print a photo??? The other issue, no any option to edit the photos before printing like zoom in, crops..
Overall just OK, conflicts with print service The app by itself is a good app. I can control our printer as if I was using a laptop or desktop to print downloaded or created documents as well as scan. It's been tremendously helpful. BUT, it's an "either - or" with the print service app. So I'm torn...do I keep the ability to scan in documents and photos or do I gain print capability from every app? Would love to have both capabilities at the same time.
Minor bugs fixed.
