Canon Print Service is software that can print simply from the menus of applications that support Android's printing subsystem. It can print from smart phones and tablets using Canon printers connected to wireless networks.

*When opening the app, if you are asked to grant permission for notifications, please tap "Allow".

If you are using a mobile terminal with Android 6 or earlier installed:
You need to activate the Canon Print Service for printing using it. The Canon Print Service is not activated immediately after installation. Activate it using one of the following methods.
- Tap the icon displayed in the notification area immediately after installation, and activate the service in the displayed settings screen.
- Tap [Settings] > [Printing] > [Canon Print Service], and activate the service in the displayed settings screen.

* If you are using a mobile terminal with Android 7 or later installed, the service is automatically activated after installation.

Ratings and reviews

I've been using this app for 2 years and within the past 6 months it has become useless. Every time I try to print, it automatically sends me a notification: printer error, failed to print. Thenit will start printing anyway but only 1/4 of the photo. I try to send it to the printer through various diff apps like galary, Lightroom, drive, etc and some will have no response while others continue to partially print the photo. I'm so over this app!! I love my canon printer but it's hard to use!

Just like everyone else I have issues ever single time I go to use it. The paper cartridge is unavailable or the wrong size is loaded or the printer isn't available, etc... Also how do you not have an option to resize an image or a document or whatever. I should be able to print whatever I want scaled to whatever size I want on whatever paper size I want.

Crashes, constant errors, print service can't find the printer most of the time. Please fix this ridiculous app. I paid a fortune for a Canon wireless printer and I would love to be able to print, just once, without cursing and trying 15 different ways to access the printer. Quick update: I still despise this app and this stupid printer. I would like the people responsible for it to be dragged out into the streets and publicly shamed.
