I remember playing the original Brave Frontier, and it was my all-time favorite gacha game before I knew what a gacha game was. The card fight style game is a nice change to the series, but the NFT part when making an account is unnecessary, and I thought everyone had moved past that. I'll keep playing solely on nostalgia, but I'm not interested in playing a long time, unfortunately.

This game brings back a lot of feels from the original. I don't mind the shift to a card game but the game needs some major balancing. It feels like cards need a certain base line health to be viable, which makes 80% of 1 drops useless and cards need to scale/ramp quickly otherwise your getting stomped. The lack of consistent solo play is a real let down too. Grinding arena just isn't fun especially when you're trying out new decks. This game need work, I hope it gets better later.

Personally, I was a huge fan of Brave Frontier. This game provides a nice bit of nostalgia, but I feel like it really lacks solo activity. 5 battles + my 1 to 3 free refreshes (total 8 battles) and then its only Arena. Doesn't really leave much room to experiment with decks or to try out mechanics accept in pvp which doesnt feel great. Secondarily, I would think a great feature would be to be able to filter cards by key words, like "protection" or "brand" etc. there's more, but no space.
