It is a waste of time. There are too many ads and unnecessary permissions, such as access to “nearby devices” (???), along with constant promotional pop-ups. Very annoying. Use Google Translate (with the camera feature) and read the translation yourself.

This app is essential if you want to shop at the supermarket/drug store etc. The English descriptions are better than Google Translate and it's really helped me since moving here. My only issue with it is that I can't turn off notifications in the app - have turned them off in Android settings, but it would be great if we could turn them off in the app itself.

Very bad app. The worst you can use in japan. Not even once it worked for me. I recommend not to waste your time and your phone memory for such bad app.
