Super difficult for users outside of China, as you need either a bank account in China, or an alipay account linked to your taobao (which has to be set up at the point of signing up for an account). Which isn't very clearly stated. Taobao loves to lock out accounts as well, with no clear way of unlocking/unfreezing your account. So yeah it's a nightmare if you're outside of China

This app overall is amazing. It does take little long for the items you've ordered to arrive, but the price for most things are really cheap. Don't complain how you can't change the language and it's only Chinese. It's a Chinese app, not an Australian or American app or whatever place you're in so don't expect it to be able to translate everything into English or another language. If you can't speak and read Chinese I recommend using a translator or something if you're reading reviews.

Bruh I've spent so much on taobao. All thanks to this app that allows me to buy fountain pens that are China exclusive at very cheap prices. I probably have saved almost 100+usd had I bought the same fountain pens from other platforms. If you don't know Chinese, then you're out luck. This is way better than aliexpress.
