Ratings and reviews

For a company with international pretensions, Rakuten has been extremely disappointing to me. Already formed a largely negative view of this app, but going to look at it some more. Most of the positive reviews look extremely dubious. Some of the problem is what I perceive as Rakuten's hostility towards people who don't speak perfect Japanese, but I also think Rakuten lacks a focus of its marketing. One result is many Rakuten accounts that I cannot consolidate into one account.

What is the point of this app for Rakuten credit card users? If you have the Rakuten and Rakuten Card apps, this has literally zero function besides taking up space. You can check your point card through the Rakuten Card app and check your points/ promotions on Rakuten or the Card app or even the web, why does Rakuten advertise to use this? If you don't have a card maybe you can use this for the points, hence the two stars, but it's useless for me. Uninstalled in two minutes.

Gives you 2 points everyday.plus 1 point every week. Sometimes there is "あたり" and you don't get point. Some kind of bug inside the app.
