Rec'n'Share allows you to record audio and video along with songs from your music library and then share your performances with the world.
It digitally enhances the way you practice, record and perform music.

Produce high-quality performance videos easily.
Connect a compatible Yamaha instrument to your smart phone/tablet (*1) to simultaneously record video from your phone’s camera, stereo digital audio from your Yamaha product and stereo backing tracks from your music library (*2) (*3).
After recording, use the app’s editing functions to trim and balance the tracks.

Enrich your practice.
Pick a song from your music library and the app’s tempo detection lets you add a click, change the tempo and select sections to repeat. It’s practice made perfect.
The Audio Track Separation function, available in Version 3, allows you to adjust the volume of specific tracks (vocals, drums, bass, etc.) of your favorite songs.
Enjoy practicing and recording more with your favorite songs in the background.

Share with the world!
You can upload your finished performances to YouTube / Facebook / Dropbox / Instagram etc (*4).

Just bought the Dtx6k. One of the main selling points for me was the rec n share app. I wanted to use it as a way to record myself and review my performances. Unfortunately, everytime I record, the audio either doesn't come through or the audio is not in sync with the video. Please fix this Yamaha. Once fixed I'll change my review.

Picked up the EAD10 a few days ago. Running Android 13. Similar issue as another review, audio and video not in sync and recorded drums audio seems to fade in and out. Tried recording just audio and sounds the same. Cables are fine as the audio records in my DAW great. Tried adjusting the timing as suggested in the help section but that does nothing to improve the poor audio. Would be a much better review if the app worked 🫤

App is now completely useless after the recent update. I have been recording drum videos for nearly 3 years with this app and now it is completely useless on my current Samsung phone. Take a look at the comments I see that there is no fix for this it seems like one day it worked and now it no longer does. I really wish Yamaha's customer service wasn't only just friendly but I also wish they could fix the issues with their program. Cannot recommend this app in any capacity
