Rec'n'Share allows you to record audio and video along with songs from your music library and then share your performances with the world.
It digitally enhances the way you practice, record and perform music.

Produce high-quality performance videos easily.
Connect a compatible Yamaha instrument to your smart phone/tablet (*1) to simultaneously record video from your phone’s camera, stereo digital audio from your Yamaha product and stereo backing tracks from your music library (*2) (*3).
After recording, use the app’s editing functions to trim and balance the tracks.

Enrich your practice.
Pick a song from your music library and the app’s tempo detection lets you add a click, change the tempo and select sections to repeat. It’s practice made perfect.
The Audio Track Separation function, available in Version 3, allows you to adjust the volume of specific tracks (vocals, drums, bass, etc.) of your favorite songs.
Enjoy practicing and recording more with your favorite songs in the background.

You can upload your finished performances to YouTube / Facebook / Dropbox / Instagram etc (*4).

Kind of worked for a while, then started having sync issues with music and video recordings, could not get them to align. Recently essentially stopped working all together. red circle of death whenever I click on anything. I can get it to start recording after about 5 min of the app thinking, but can't play back the recording, it says the app is unresponsive. Hands down the worst product Yamaha musical instruments has ever made.

I was able to record straight out of my brand new Yamaha CK-61 into a Pixel 7 using a regular USB cable and it worked great. High quality audio and video. Saving files is a bit clunky, as you have to choose where to put them and they're saved as separate audio, video, and metadata files. In order to upload them to Instagram or something, you have to actually export it as a single file first. Not a big deal, but it takes up twice the storage on your device.

Everytime i try to record a video whether it's isolated drums or to a song, it comes out all static. You can still hear the song and drums but it has that static too. It was working fine last month when i filmed some stuff. I cant find any way to resolve it. Cables are all in good shape and well taken care of on the Ead10 module. I dont know if it is because of the update or what. Other than that it was a 5 star application. Hopefully it is just a bug that needs to be fixed on the app itself.
