This app can play slideshow of your Google Photos and set it as screen saver.
You can choice your favorite albums in Google Photos for slideshow.

This app needs work but it seems like the developer is actively improving the app. Unfortunately you can't expand the photo maximum on the phone, leading to a tedious process of using the TV remote and keyboard to type the password over and over. There should be an option to expand by 2,500 and 5,000 at a time for people with many photos. (Apparently the max is 9,500? Also annoying)

I'm done with all the errors and selecting photos every other day. This used to work well, I also spent money on it, but the developer is a mess, doesn't reply to emails and is messing up the app all the time. I'm done with this! I want my money back!

was good till update.. I used to be able to login and select all the photos on my Nvidia shield...now i have to qr code each time I want to add a new photo and it doesn't just add it it removes all previous ones I'd selected so have to spend ages doing everything again each time I want to add new...just utterly stupid update...I've paid for various increases in the photos I can display and now they've made it unusable...avoid
