■ Synopsis

You are an ordinary high school student with a crush on your cute classmate, Isla. Knowing she likes guys who are good swimmers, you head to the beach to practice and impress her. But things go wrong—you’re caught by a powerful current and dragged underwater. Just as you think your life is over, someone rescues you.

When you wake up, you find three girls arguing above you: Isla and two others. The other two are clearly not human—one has a killer whale’s tail, and the other wears a jellyfish-like hat. Panicked, you try to run away, but Isla chases after you. In the struggle, you both fall into the sea, where you witness Isla transform into a mermaid.

■ Isla
Isla is the only daughter of the Merfolk King and a true princess. She was sent to the human world as part of a project to learn about human society. Although she dislikes humans, she behaves politely because of her father’s orders. Stressed by her mission, she only reveals her true self to you.

■ Pearl
Pearl is a jellyfish and Isla’s handmaid. She adores humans and is fascinated by anything made by them—especially Jello. Though she loves serving Isla, her clumsiness often causes trouble. She follows Isla to the human world, determined to prove her worth.

■ Delta
Delta is a killer whale and Isla’s devoted bodyguard. Calm and mature on the surface, she becomes easily flustered when Isla is involved. Fiercely loyal to her role, Delta begins to question her own identity and future as she experiences life among humans.
