BlueLight Protect Plus


This is an application (additional function version) that creates a special filter that reduces blue light.
Reduces eye strain by preventing harmful BlueLight emissions.
It is also effective in preventing headaches caused by light stimulation.

Unlike a sheet that is physically attached to the screen, you can easily turn the filter on and off, so you can use it according to your mood.
You can freely set the color, transparency, and brightness, so you can build an eye-friendly and energy-saving display to your liking.
You can save 3 filters of your choice (you can easily switch between them with the button on the notification bar).
There are 4 preset filters (amber, orange, wine, energy saving) by default.

This app is an app with the following functions added to the free "Blue Light Protection" app.
1. You can specify the time, such as filtering only at night (it works very lightly without using a timer).
2. You can switch between 3 filters with the button on the notification bar.
3. You can reset (recreate) the filter by tapping the notification bar.
4. You can reset the filter by tapping the app icon.
5. You can reset the filter with a rotation speed sensor.
6. You can reset the filter with the proximity sensor.
7. You can create a strong (non-disappearing) filter with a low load.

*Although a sensor is installed, it can be turned off if the sensor is not needed, so it operates with a low load.

◆◆◆Super light and low load◆◆◆
No ads or push notifications. .
No network communication at all.
Since it does not acquire network privileges, there is no secret transmission of personal information or download of advertising data behind the scenes.
It doesn't even get GPS permissions! We do not collect or sell user's location information (behavior information).
You can use it without worrying about personal information leakage, CPU load, monthly data communication volume.

You can specify the time to filter.
Use this when applying a filter only at night.
Depending on the specified time, the filter On/Off is automatically switched, but the time is judged only "when waking up".
The time is not determined while using the smartphone (while the screen is lit).
If you constantly monitor the time, the load will increase significantly, so this is a device to avoid it.
Automatic switching of the filter On/Off is performed only when waking up from sleep.
This allows it to run at ultra-low loads without damaging the CPU and battery.




◆◆◆Reset◆◆◆
In order to use memory efficiently, Android deletes unused apps from memory.
Since this app runs with a very low load, it may be mistakenly recognized as an "unused app" by Android and deleted from memory.
When it is erased from memory, the filter is also erased.
If the filter has disappeared, there are four ways to reset (recreate) the filter.

1. notification bar
2. App icon (Reset)
3. rotation speed sensor
4. proximity sensor

*By resetting regularly, the memory will be refreshed, and you can use it comfortably and gently on your smartphone.

Four types of filters are preset.

【amber】
A well-balanced filter suitable for any scene. Blocks blue light while maintaining visibility.

【orange】
The perfect filter for outdoors in the daytime. Block blue light while maintaining brightness.

【wine】
The perfect filter for before bed. Blocks blue light, which is harmful to sleep.

[Energy saving]
A filter that reduces power consumption. Reduces the amount of light on the screen, reduces power consumption, and prevents blue light.

When installing this app, it requests the following permissions:

There was a report that it was detected as a virus (high risk).
Some models seem to detect all apps that have the above "Overlay apps" permission as viruses.
Blue Light Protect acquires the "overlay on app" permission to display the filter, but does not acquire any other permissions (network, personal information access, system operation, remote operation, etc.) , I can confidently say that it is absolutely safe.
Even if you want to do something viral, you can't do anything because you don't have permission.
You can only view filters.

◆◆◆Important◆◆◆
When something is displayed on the screen (filtered by this app), important buttons such as app updates and purchases cannot be pressed.
This is because Android's safety features work (android specifications).
For example, a malicious filter could display the word "free" above the "buy" button to disguise it as a free app.
To prevent this, important buttons cannot be pressed while the filter is applied.
When performing important operations such as updating the app or purchasing, please turn off this app and remove the filter.
