I can only jojn the chorus of people complaining about controls, they really are godawful to say the least. Not only the distance between the jump and attack "buttons" is wierd luring you into LOTS of missed and wrong inputs, sometimes they are just flat out non registering. I greatly appreciated the "macro" icon for casting spells but it felt more like a bandaid to cover for ubearable controls and YES, I`m including the d-pad too. The voice acting is better in the original game by the way.....

Castlevania: SOTN, while not my favorite in the series, was always a really good game. This version of the game is great as well, although, this is just a port of the PSP version. That means there are some small issues here and there, such as the mist for not having it's own button when using a game controller. I was hoping that it would contain the content that was exlusive the Sega Saturn version, but I'm guessing there's a reason the PSP version didn't have that extra content either.

EDIT: I turned on battery saver mode and that fixed it. For context I'm playing on a Pixel 8 pro. TURN ON BATTERY SAVER MODE. I don't know what happened to this game, I used to play it all the time on my old phone and it ran perfectly fine. The onscreen controls were a little clunky but you got used to them. Started it up today while in a waiting room and it's like it's been sped up to 3x speed.
