Ratings and reviews

The timer ruins the game. Almost everything about the game is great. The economy is pretty f2p friendly. The automation helps a lot with the bookkeeping. It's the best way to play on mobile. But the timer ruins the game more than anything else. It serves two purposes: to make playing against rogue decks a miserable guessing game, and to end the most fun and exciting matches in the least satisfying way possible. Fix the timer and I will give the app 5 stars.

I've come to the sad realization that this game is not for those of us who are on a nostalgia trip. You only advance by dueling, and that will just mean losing frequently. Usually I can't understand why I've lost because the mechanics are so intertwined and convoluted. and/or the opponent just has much better cards, strategy, etc. Very well made game. Story modes and training modes are nice for refreshing basic mechanics. But there's no walk, only crawl and sprint.

It's decent if you know how to play and I've been playing for over 7 years, with the actual TCG, Dueling Nexus, and this game, on both mobile and PlayStation. I have 2 problems with this game. 1 is that the game is hugely unbalanced. Players do these huge plays that lock the other player out of doing anything. 2 is that I have a bunch of SR and UR cards that I can't dismantle and it leads to me not being able to do anything with them. Again, overall decent but needs a bunch of fixes.
