TANGORU is an English vocabulary learning app for junior and senior high school students that complements paper vocabulary notebooks. While it's a comprehensive vocabulary list arranged alphabetically, key words already have "professional annotations"—nuance notes (📝) and penalty traps (⚠️)—added in the margins.

Imply and infer, sensible and sensitive, salary/wage/income… Words with similar meanings that are easily confused are grouped together for comparison. Includes definitive explanations of "when to use which" and pictograms to help you grasp the meaning.

In-depth explanations, comparisons, and quizzes are available for free for initial letters A-C, and all content is unlocked with in-app purchases (one-time payment). There is no subscription service.

You can transfer your learning history when changing devices by linking your Google account (optional).
