Works but a few bugs. Consume battery when not use Show maps, play songs and others compatible applications are working well with my android phone. However, sometime it just got dead air and the phone speaker did speak instead of the car until I restart my cell and the pioneer set (by restart the car engine ). Don't know why. Others are about my multitasking click patterns on my cell make the link gone wrong. Keep up the good work. (Galaxy Alpha) And, have to uninstall when not use it. It monitors usb port and eat battery all the time.
Used to work with my Droid, but... ... The newest version seems to have broken things w/ Bluetooth. I get stuck at the "Please start the activation from the touch screen..." prompt unless I redo the wired connection.
Very poor execution. It connects is the only thing nice I can say about this app. Everything can be ran from radiolive so this is a useless interface. It also puts 2,annoying, non removable 2 notifications in the tray saying it is ready to connect. The only reason I still have this is because it is necessary to run radiolive. Very disappointed in the quality of this product. If I could go back, I would go to the Android Auto platform. Samsung Note Edge and AVH3700-BHS
This app is pretty much useless. Get with the program pioneer. We pay enough for your head units that we should get some quality features with it. And more compatible apps.
Please update for Nexus 5 5.1.1, Nexus gets android updates the earliest and it is frustrating having to wait for AppRadio to update to be able to use its function, it wont let me use it at all with this version.
I'm running a HTC one on Android 5.0.2 and I'm not seeing any compatible apps showing apart from appradio live despite having carmediaplayer and Navmii installed. When launching appradio live via USB appradio mode the sound is playing from the phones speakers and not the cars. Using a AVH-x2700BT, not very impressed so far :(
• FIXED: Quad HD phone support (Galaxy Note4, Note Edge, ...)
• New Feature: automatic launch of your favorite compatible App
Notice to Samsung Galaxy users:
• AppRadio Mode USB: In some 4.4 (KitKat) and 5.0 (Lollipop) OS versions, Note3, 4, Edge and S5 can not output sound.
• AppRadio Mode: Screen flicker can be avoided by turning off hardware overlays in the developer options of your phone. (Settings → About Device → tap Build Number several times)
