Nice app. Have few suggestions. 1. For verb if you add to which group it belongs it will be great help. 2. Similarly for kanji , if you mention about kanji JLPT level , e.g. N1 or N5 etc. helpful to more focus on that kanji. 3. Try to give very simple phrases , more easy to understand , grasp and use it. Anyway many thanks for this beautiful app. 👍
The best! User-friendly, helpful grammar notes. And can even search by conjugated form! This is by far the best Japanese Dictionary app I've ever tried. Thanks for making my learning-translating process faster and easier~
Takoboto is by far the best Japanese dictionary that you can get for a couple of reasons. First, it is available as an Android app, in Windows and a dedicated online page. Second, you can search in kanji, kana, romaji and English which is absolutely useful should you wish to learn Japanese or identify kanji. Moreover, the search by kanji option is cool if you were to know the number of strokes needed. Third,, when you select the word you are searching for, it gives the meaning (in other languages too!), example, out-dated kanji, the grammar and examples. As of yet, no known technical or usage issues are encountered, at least from my side. So highly recommend.
I think ive tried all Japanese dictionary in store. This is no1. Thank you so much for your effort. But I have a few wish 1. I want to add favourite sentences into custom list like kitchen phrase or bathroom phrase emotion phrase etc. 2. Dark theme. The last and first thing I see every day is this app. Reading sentence in the dark sometime can bother your sleeping partner 3.Apps logo. Its the best Japanese dict. app. The tako is great but its like low pixel picture
Best Japanese dictionary app for Android I used to use iOS and they had an app called imiwa that I loved. I've been hunting for anything close since I switched to Android and finally stumbled upon this last night. The search feature is superior to the other dictionary apps I've tried, and I love the inclusion of "usually written in kana alone" notation, which is incredibly useful and missing from any app I've tried other than imiwa.
This app Is everything I need! This app Is everything to me :) I am so happy with it's clean, user friendly appearance along with functionality! I have yet to find any problems with it. I would say don't fix something that doesn't need to be fixed. The only thing I want to suggest, If your an extra credit kinda person, is an export tool. Maybe with anki. (To those who don't have it) An email choice.
Advanced search functionality using the question mark symbol to represent any Japanese characters. Very handy when you can't remember the exact kanji used in a word.
