Smart Speed is a tool in extended set of the Smart Tools collection .

This speedometer (velocimeter) calculates the speed by the distance and time moved horizontally.

Usage is simple: Enter the shortest distance to a target. Measure the shortest distance in advance with a rangefinder (e.g. Smart Distance, Smart Measure, Map).
Then, touch your screen following the target.

If the result is not accurate, you can calibrate your device with [Speed Calibration] option.

Eh. . I was hoping for something a weeeee bit more. Having to press and drag the target with a speeding car within a short frame leaves a lot of room for error. Too bad it wasn't a point and shoot , or lock a target and the computer could do the dragging across the screen. I tried about 30 cars and my distance 10 and 15 ft. I may have gotten 3 or 4 close data points🙄. cars going by 50 to 60 mph no human can accurately do this function. Most readings said 5 to 9mph🤷def off

Good fun, using it to gather average speeds in both a residential area and a transport yard. Of course, just standing out with a camera in hand garners the same effect - so it is just a fun app - user inputs the distance from the object being tracked, then must keep focus and finger movement to get avg speed, a lot to concentrate on

Half these morons cant spell simple words of course they are not going to figure out how to use the app. It not going to be 100% accurate but if u use it right it's good to see the speed of cars flying by your house in your neighborhood. NOT a small baseball flying 60-70. It is very important to input your distance to ur object to get the most accurate reading. I had my wife drive by and it was VERY close to her speed after using the app correctly.
