About this app

Build your understanding of everyday computing with Learn Computer. Explore computer fundamentals, read practical lessons, and put ideas into practice through interactive activities. It is a learning companion for students, beginners, and people reviewing the knowledge they use at school or work.

UNDERSTAND THE FOUNDATIONS
Learn what computers do and how their main parts work together. Browse topics covering computer history, types of computers, data and information, memory, file processing, and number systems. Use the topic menu to choose a lesson, then move between related pages as you study. Number conversion examples help you follow the relationship between binary, decimal, octal, and hexadecimal notation.

EXPLORE HARDWARE, SOFTWARE, AND NETWORKS
Read about processors, storage, input and output devices, and other PC components. Explore software lessons covering everyday tools such as text editing, drawing, calculators, and system settings. Networking topics introduce connections, network devices, protocols, and common network concepts. These sections explain computer use; they do not install or control desktop software on your phone.

LEARN THROUGH SEVEN PRACTICE LABS
Choose an activity from Interactive Learning and work through its 100 levels. The labs turn familiar concepts into tasks you can complete on the screen:
- Practice keyboard shortcut combinations in order.
- Tap targets in a timed mouse-speed activity.
- Match hardware parts with their descriptions.
- Select components for simulated PC builds.
- Pair shortcut keys with the actions they perform.
- Fill missing commands in example command snippets.
- Choose connections for devices in a cable simulator.

Activities provide feedback and record completed levels on your device. Use the level selector to revisit unlocked practice. PC building, terminal commands, and cable connections are educational simulations, so you can explore the concepts without making changes to a real computer or network.

REVIEW SHORTCUTS AND PRACTICAL QUESTIONS
Browse desktop keyboard shortcuts and revisit useful combinations. Read computer interview questions and answers to revise terminology such as files, folders, the clipboard, and the taskbar. Separate tips and troubleshooting sections offer explanations to consult when learning about everyday computer tasks and common problems.

KEEP YOUR REVISION ORGANIZED
Save supported shortcut lessons, interview answers, tips, and troubleshooting topics as favorites. Open the Favorites page to return to a saved area instead of looking through the full list again. Favorites and activity progress are stored on the current device. Light and dark appearance options let you choose how the app looks while you read.

CHECK WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNED
Take timed computer quizzes, view score analysis, and review individual answers. The certificate section includes Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond achievement tiers with score requirements. Qualifying results let you preview, save, or share an in-app certificate. These certificates recognize progress inside the app and are not an accredited qualification.

Start with a subject you want to understand, try a related lab, and return to saved topics for revision. Some lesson images and linked resources need an internet connection. The app includes advertisements.
Study computer basics, try seven practice labs, and test yourself with quizzes.

A good app from scratch to advanced. Easy to understand. Though I have 1 thing concerning certification. The certificates need to be fixed, they are not positioned well, the other side is shorter than the other one. When you view the certificate before downloading its good, every side appears but after you have downloaded it you realize that the other side is cut short. Please fix it
