Atrocious app. Cannot tell if is connected, unless you happen to look at the unreadable text just above the spreadsheet or catch the message box. When connected, it still offers the option to connect to Disto. Why???? Also when connected, it does absolutely nothing when measure button is pressed. The spreadsheet it unusable, because the keyboard disappears. What a waste of time. A phone app is sorely needed in lieu of the PC software, but this is ridiculous.

Very difficult to make this work on Android. My disto 7100i will not connect in Bluetooth settings. But if you use the Bluetooth pairing app "Bluetooth finder, scanner pair" by Zoltan pallagi you can pair your phone, then open the distro transfer app and the app finds the distro and measurements import to Excell flawlessly. I downloaded an APK for the app, not sure if it is the Google play store version, but if you have trouble maybe try that. Unacceptable to not keep your software updated

I connected my S910 to my Samsung Note 8 phone. The app will act as a remote control for the Disto. The tiny button on the phone's screen is too small for my fingers, but I can use the stylus for this. When using a function on the Disto, only the actual measured distance is transfered. Push the = to transfer the result. I find my work proceeds quicker using a pen and paper. I will try a little longer to determine the purpose of this app. If I do, I will revise this review.
