This is a very neat looking implementation of John Conway's Game if Life, it runs really well and gives you A TON of customisation options, like literally changing rules, and making new ones. You can also place blueprints, which are also pre-made. I have wanted to make my own implementation, but after seeing this, litterly gave up because I knew I couldn't recreate this level of polish. Very well made

There doesn't seem to be a way to save or reset a configuration. Makes experimenting almost impossible. Also, you can change the simulation speed but there's no indicator of the current speed.

Very nice, zooms smoothly, can control speed easily, and has a bunch of good templates. The function to place a random bunch of dots isn't easy to find though - you use the Start Selection first.
