Swell is an audio platform for social engagement and podcasting.

Start a Community Swellcast to engage your friends, fans and followers by using Social Prompts.

Easily create Social Prompts using the app and then share them online and on social media. Anyone can click and reply to your prompts without downloading the app. Each reply becomes an episode that you can include in your podcast. You can also post your own episodes and share your thoughts and opinions in your podcast.

Most people think of podcasts as studio recorded talk shows with celebrity interviews, which are expensive and time-consuming to produce. Swell is making podcasting fun and simple for community engagement.


PODCAST DISTRIBUTION

Swell can distribute your Swellcast to leading podcasting platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, YouTube Podcasts, Audible, Pandora and more. Wow. I love that days after I join I see the app update has the addition of user-requested features, such as speedier playback (1.5x or 2x speed). I liked the suggesrion when I first heard it in the app and I especially like that the devs are not only attentive to feedback but responsive in acting on it. The whole premise for Swell is unique. I predict if the team stays open to change in the UI, while standing by their core mission, it will be more and more successful. Kudos.

A suggestion I have is to allow me to personalize my app experience through allowing me to change the color scheme. Also, personal swells that don't have to be about starting a conversation - on your personal page. Maybe a limit of 2 or something. Just to share a thought purely for sake of sharing it. The color scheme as it is makes everything feel unexciting and dull. Still getting 5 stars because I love the concept and I'd like to see more people join the app and for things to further develop.

I loved the concept of this app, the podcasts, the topics, the prompts everything is perfect. I also loved that this app allows me to start my own podcast without any difficulties but the only problem is that THIS APP LAGS SO MUCH AND THERE IS NO SMOOTHNESS IN USING THIS APP FEELS LIKE I'M USING THE WEBSITE BECAUSE IT WORKS SO SLOWLY AND LAGS SO MUCH 😭😭
